COPYRIGHT

Copyright  is the exclusive right as the creator of a literary, scientific or artistic work  get to make copies of it and by making it available to the public.

Copyright shall ensure the artists' rights and income opportunities and contribute to innovation and the development of new cultural expressions.  Copyright is regulated in the Copyright Act (Act of 15 June 2018 no. 40 on copyright in intellectual property, etc.).
The starting point according to the law is that whoever creates an intellectual work - a literary or artistic work of any kind - has the copyright to the work. For something to be an intellectual work, it must be an expression of original and individual creative intellectual effort (so-called "work height"). Copyright arises when a work is created, and there is no requirement for registration to obtain protection.
